We held a Remembrance Service on the school yard and invited parents, families and the local community. The new vicar of New Marske attended and gave a short service as well as a bugler who played the Last Post. Children read out the names of all who had died from the local area during the wars.
Each class laid a wreath that they made and there was also a wreath laid by Mr. Bateman (Governor) from all children, staff and parents.
Since the start of this academic year the PTFA have been incredibly busy arranging a range of activities to help support our pupils in school. These events have included a Halloween disco, a Christmas fair and Race night at the New Marske Sports club and a free dress day at the end of the term. All of these events were well supported by pupils and have raised vital funds for school which will be used to support learning activities in all year groups.
